Matchweek 4 of the ADNOC Pro League saw Sharjah extend their winning streak to four games to maintain their position at the top of the league and become the only team with a 100% record.
They pulled off a 3-0 win over Khorfakkan to go two points clear at the top of the ADNOC Pro League after Al Jazira shared the spoils with Bani Yas in matchweek four, which saw 24 goals.
Meanwhile, Ajman, Al Dhafra, and Al Wahda secured their maiden wins since the start of the 2022-2023 season.
Matchweek four saw three players grab braces, with Gabriel De Souza scoring twice against Al Nasr, as well as, Walid Azaro's two goals against Dibba and Lucas Pimenta's brace against Al Bataeh.
Al Wahda's Luis Miguel produced seven goal-scoring chances, while Al Jazira's Abdulla Ramadan excelled in the accurate passes in the opposing half with 53, ahead of his teammate Thulani Serero (50).
Abdulla Ramadan has produced 29 key passes, five of which were big goal-scoring chances.
Al Bataeh's goalkeeper Abdalla Yousif was a model of efficiency as he made nine saves during his side's game against Al Wahda.
In terms of the clubs' Expected Goals (xG), Sharjah led the chart by scoring 11 goals out of 6 Expected Goals (xG), while Bani Yas have just scored 2 out of 3.5 Expected Goals (xG).
