Fiery Encounters Set to Take Place in Matchweek 6 of ADNOC Pro League

The ADNOC Pro League Matchweek 6th is set to see seven encounters taking place on Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, as each side looks to gain some ground between keeping pace with the league's leading teams or moving up the standings.

 

 

 

 

The competition became so fierce between the top four clubs as the results of matchweek 6th will have a great impact on the standings.

 

 

 

The Shabab Al Ahli vs Al Jazira big match will kickstart matchweek 6th at Rashid Stadium at 17:00 on Saturday, as the hosts look to return to winning ways for the first time since matchweek 3, while Al Jazira will be in a search of the three points to heap pressure on leaders Sharjah.

 

 

 

 

The two clubs had previously met on 26 occasions, with eleven wins for the Dubai-based side, and ten for the Pride of Abu Dhabi, while the other five encounters ended in draws.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, Ittihad Kalba welcome Dibba with the hosts searching for returning to the winning ways and securing their first win since matchweek three, while Dibba will seek to achieve their first three points in the competition.

 

 

 

Saturday's action concludes with a big night at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, where title holders Al Ain host Al Wahda for the 20:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

The Al Ain vs. Al Wahda Clasico always sees great competition and excitement between the players of the two clubs.

 

 

 

During their 26 meetings, Al Ain won 14 matches, compared to six victories for Al Wahda, while the other six encounters ended in draws, with Al Ain scoring 39 goals, while Al Wahda found the back of the Al Ain's net on 21 occasions.

 

 

 

 

The games continue on Sunday with four fiery encounters, as Bani Yas will play against Al Nasr for the 17:00 kick-off.

Sunday's third match will be between leaders Sharjah with 13 points and second-placed Al Wasl with 11 points.

 

 

 

During their 24 previous meetings, Al Wasl managed to win ten matches, while Sharjah secured eight victories, and the other six matches ended in draws.

 

 

 

Matchweek six concludes with Ajman hosting Khorfakkan at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium as the two clubs enter the game with high morale after winning their last games during matchweek five.
