Al Ain claimed the ADNOC Pro League title for the fifth time in the UAE Pro League era and 14th time in the club’s history after a 5-0 thrashing of Al Jazira, to secure one of their biggest wins of the 2021/22 season.

It was also the biggest defeat for Al Jazira this season.

Al Ain secured 11 clean sheets in the ADNOC Pro league this season, which is a record of clean sheets for Al Ain in a single season throughout the competition's history.

The hosts enjoyed the bulk of possession throughout the 90 minutes with 61% and this was translated into 22 shots, eight of which were on the target, while Ajman had only seven shots, four of which were on the target.

Ismail Matar was his side's best performer, creating three chances before scoring a goal, while 13 shots for the duo Joao Pedro and Omar Khribin were not converted into goals.

Defender Lucas Pimenta excelled in intercepting four out of five attempts, in addition to his superiority in duels on seven out of nine occasions.

Mohammed Khalfan scored his second goal in the ADNOC Pro League this season.

He has previously scored a late goal to restore parity for his side against Al Nasr in matchweek 15, but this time he scored the winning goal in the 95th minute, giving his team all three points.

Gastón Suarez and Abdallah Al Balushi created five assists each, and Khaled Yahia and Ali Madan had three assists each while goalkeeper Talal Khamis' four saves helped his side to secure the three points.

Sharjah- Khorfakkan

Sharjah continued their series of victories achieving the sixth win in a row, in an equal-opportunity game.

Khorfakkan had more shots than Sharjah (14-13), but they were equal in shots on target (5-5), despite Sharjah's significant advantage in possession with 68% of the ball.

De Sousa was the best performer of his side with four shots on target and three assists while goalkeeper Darwish Habib brilliantly managed to save the ball on many occasions.

Ittihad Kalba- Emirates

31 minutes was enough for Ittihad Kalba to successfully finish their mission against Emirates, thanks to Robert Zulj’s first-half hat-trick helping him become the first Ittihad Kalba player to score a hat-trick in the Pro League.

Ittihad Kalba dominated the bulk of possession with more than 60% and succeeded in scoring three goals from 5 five shots on the target, and Zulj also made two assists, while Brian Ramírez managed to win 12 out of 18 duels.
