First-leg games of the UAE Pro League cup round one have come to an end after witnessing a big tally of goals as none of the games ended goalless.
During the round one, the net dribbled on 18 occasions, including 17 goals from inside the penalty area, one from outside of the box, two headed goals, and two others from penalty kicks.
The intensity and quality of the matches were so high, as three teams secured away wins, signifying the excitement of games from the onset of the tournament.
Sharjah secured a 3-0 away win over Bani Yas, while victory Al Wasl and Al Jazira snatched a narrow 1-0 victory over Khorfakkan and Dibba, respectively.
Sharjah topped the chart of clubs with the most shots (18 shots), but Ajman and Al Wasl produced the most shots on target.
Meanwhile, Al Jazira controlled the ball possession in their clash against Dibba (64%).
As for the individual stats of players, Luís Miguel topped the chart of players with big chances created with a total of 5 opportunities, while goalkeepers Abdullah Alqamish, Rashid Ali, and Mayed Muhsin have equally managed to make 6 saves.
Meanwhile, Al Bataeh forward Sekou Gassama topped the chart of players with the most successful dribbles (5).
