UAE Pro League decided to conduct raffle draws for fans attending ADNOC Pro league games as of the eleventh week of the competition scheduled for January 25th and 26th and until the end of the current season, as those who will buy tickets to the remaining weeks' games will be eligible to win numerous valuable prizes presented by the league.
The initiative comes as part of the UAEPL strategic plan aiming at enhancing the whole match-attending experience in the belief that fans presence in stadiums is the bedrock of developing football industry in UAE.
The Pro League revealed that all fans possessing a scanned electronic ticket will be entitled to enter the draw for the valuable prizes that include; tablets, smart watches, and gaming sets, as two prizes are set to be presented in every game while 3 prizes will be awarded during "game of the week".
Winners will be announced at half time and will receive their prizes after the game's final whistle.
The Pro League has been putting in much effort to encourage fans to attend games through launching such initiatives and participating in several communal events like ADNOC Marathon, and the events the league held at Dubai frame, and Al Ruwais Park.
UAEPL has also allocated what is called "fans prize"; a prize worth a total of 7 million AED that will be divided and granted periodically (every three rounds) to professional clubs along with seasonal prizes based on their fans' attendance rate, in an attempt to get stands of the games' venues as crowded as possible in ADNOC Pro League’s final weeks that are foreseen to witness a great deal of excitement and rivalry.
