Seven UAE Clubs Set for Asian and Gulf Tough Clashes This Week

Seven ADNOC Pro League clubs will compete in Asian and Gulf competitions from October 12 to 14, with seven matches scheduled across the AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two and Gulf Champions League.

Al Ain, Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahli will be in action in the AFC Champions League Elite, while Al Wahda and Al Jazira continue their AFC Champions League Two campaigns. Al Nasr and Ajman will also begin their Gulf Club Champions League campaigns.

The action starts on Monday, October 12, with two AFC Champions League Elite matches. Al Wasl host Saudi Arabia's Al Ahli at Zabeel Stadium, while Al Ain travel to Iraq to face Al Quwa Al Jawiya in Basra.

Al Ain will be looking to build on their opening victory, while Al Wasl aim to bounce back from defeat in their first match.

On Tuesday, October 13, Shabab Al Ahli face Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad in Jeddah, seeking their second consecutive win after opening their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Iran's Tractor.

The action continues on Wednesday, October 14, with two AFC Champions League Two fixtures. Al Wahda travel to Uzbekistan to face Nasaf, while Al Jazira host Turkmenistan's Arkadag at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

Both UAE clubs will be looking for positive results to strengthen their positions in the group standings and improve their chances of reaching the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, Al Nasr and Ajman begin their Gulf Champions League campaigns this week.

Al Nasr host Bahrain's Al Riffa at Al Maktoum Stadium on Tuesday, October 13, before Ajman welcome Iraq's Erbil to Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium on Wednesday, October 14.

The seven matches give UAE clubs an opportunity to strengthen their positions in Asian competitions and make a positive start to their Gulf campaigns.
