Five different teams won their matches from goals scored early in the first half of the game in the ADNOC Pro League match-week 1 and 2. The winning sides managed to maintain their lead or add more goals in the second period.
Shabab Al Ahly, Al Ain, and Sharjah secured their match-week 2 wins with goals scored in the first half. Whereas Al Nasr scored three times against Al Orooba in the first half and went on to score 2 more in the second half claiming a 5-0 comfortable triumph.
In match-week 1, Al Wahda beat Al Orooba 4-0; with three of their goals being scored in the first half by Joao Pedro (2) and Omar Khribin. Perdro bagged a brace of headers while Khribin scored once in the first half before adding his side’s fourth goal from the penalty spot in the second half.
