The UAE Pro League has announced the nominees for the ADNOC Pro League Best monthly awards, powered by Etisalat, in the Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Coach categories for February.
The shortlist for the Best Player award includes Al Ain duo Cristian Guanca and Soufiane Rahimi, who helped their side to cement their position at the top of the league table.
Argentinian forward Guanca scored six goals and provided six assists so far, while the Moroccan left-winger netted seven goals and seven assists this season.
The pair are joined by Al Wahda duo Adrien Silva and Omar Khribin, who continued their scoring contributions with their team.
Khrbin occupies second place in the league’s top scorers list with 12 goals as well as five assists, while the Portuguese midfielder delivered outstanding performances and helped their team get back on the right path in February.
Rounding off the list is Argentinian forward Federico Cartabia, who scored two goals and made an assist for Shabab Al Ahli.
In the Best Goalkeeper category for February, Sharjah's Adel Al Hosani is competing against Al Ain keeper Khalid Eisa and Al Wahda goalkeeper Mohamed Ali.
Al Wahda coach Grégory Dufrennes, Al Ain coach Sergiy Rebrov and Sharjah manager Cosmin Olaroiu are competing for the Best Coach award.
Voting opens at 12:00 PM today on the UAE Pro League website and mobile app and will continue for 48 hours.
After which, winners will be announced through the official UAE PL social media channels.
