New names are making an impact in ADNOC Pro League

The new season of ADNOC Professional League is witnessing the emergence of new names especially foreign players who are making their debut in the competition, and making the difference for their teams with their fine forms and goals scored.

The first two rounds saw new signings shine with their teams as they managed to grab the attention with the goals they netted. It only took Al Jazira's Joao Victor a few minutes to find the back of the net when he came off the bench against Al Dhafra in the first round, scoring his debut goal with the defending champion.

Al Wasl's two goals in the first two rounds were scored by two of the new signings, as Brazilian Ramiro snatched the winning goal against Baniyas in the first round, while Uruguayan Araujo scored his team's goal in the draw against Khorfakkan in the second round.

New signings have also secured Sharjah two wins in the first two matchweeks; a goal from the Brazilian Bernard sealed their first round victory over Ittihad Kalba, whereas their game against Al Dhafra was decided by the goal from Congolese striker Ben Malango who has joined from Moroccan league.

With Al Ain, Tunisian Yassine Meriah did not wait long to find his way to the net. Despite being a defender, he managed to score a header against Emirates in the second round, amid a remarkable performance by Argentine Guanca, who posed great danger with his impressive passes.

Moreover, Ajman's Colombian striker Mina didn't wait long to leave his first mark as he only needed two minutes to score his first goal with his new team paving the way for a 3-0 victory over Al Nasr in the first round.
