Al Wahda Secure Dominant 4-0 Win over Hatta in ADNOC Pro League

Al Wahda clinched an impressive win against Hatta with a resounding 4-0 scoreline in matchweek 16 of the ADNOC Pro League. The match took place on Wednesday at the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium, marking a significant victory for Al Wahda as they continue their pursuit of the top positions in the league standings.

The match kicked off with Al Wahda displaying an aggressive approach, quickly taking control of the game. Their efforts bore fruit just six minutes in when Omar Khribin converted a superb pass from Allan Marques into the opening goal.

Al Wahda's dominance continued to grow, and their persistent attacks led to a second goal in the 31st minute by Allan Marques, following an assist from Ruben Filipe. Marques has been instrumental in Al Wahda's recent successes, contributing to four of the team's last goals in the league.

As the first half was drawing to a close, Facundo Daniel added a third goal for Al Wahda, further widening the gap between the two teams.

The second half saw no major shifts in the dynamics of the game, with Al Wahda maintaining control. The situation worsened for Hatta when their Nigerian player G. Igbokwe was sent off with a red card for violent conduct, following a VAR review. This incident diminished Hatta's chances of mounting any significant comeback.

Al Wahda's offensive pressure eventually led to a penalty kick in the 80th minute, which was successfully converted by A. Duishoev, marking his first goal in the ADNOC Pro League and extending Al Wahda's lead to four goals. The team managed to maintain this lead until the final whistle, securing a comprehensive victory.

With this victory, Al Wahda have elevated their points tally to 30, solidifying their position at fourth in the league table. Conversely, Hatta's struggle persists as they remain anchored at the bottom with only 5 points, following their 12th defeat of the season.
