Al Wahda came from a 0-1 down to defeat Al Bataeh 2-1 at Khalid Bin Mohammad Stadium in matchweek 14 of the ADNOC Pro League on Sunday.
Petrus Boumal put Al Bataeh ahead in the 45th minute when he showed his vast potential as he beat the goalkeeper Rashed Ali with a sublime low shot into the back of the net.
Al Wahda continued to swarm forward at the start of the second half and the pressure paid off in the 51st minute when Ahmed Noorollah's outrageous bicycle kick smashed the net from inside the box.
H.Erkinov effectively killed Al Bataeh off in the 78th minute when Al Wahda broke forward at pace and he applied a clinical finish from Omar Khribin's square pass.
The win means that Al Wahda sit fifth with 24 points, while Al Bataeh are 9th with 16 point.
