Ousmane Camara scored a brace as visiting Ittihad Kalba pulled off a stunning 3-0 win against high-flying Al Nasr in the eighth round of the UAE ADNOC Pro League, on Thursday.
Fresh from their 3-0 win over Sharjah in Round Seven, Al Nasr were caught completely off-guard as Ittihad Kalba scored two goals in as many minutes in the first half and then added a third in the second to outplay their more illustrious opponents.
Guinean Camara gave Ittihad Kalba the lead in the 12th minute when he watched his miscued shot trickle in.
Two minutes later, it was Robert Zulj tapping into an empty goal following a fine run down the right flank from Ahmed Abdullah Mohammed.
In the second half, it was Camara finding a third goal as he blasted in a rebound off the framework in the 63rd minute to all but subdue the home team.
The result helped Ittihad Kalba climb into double figures with ten points and temporarily into eighth place, while Al Nasr slipped one spot down into fifth with 13 points.
