The UAE Pro League announced that the 2020-21 Arabian Gulf Cup final between Shabab Al Ahli and Al Nasr will be held on April 9th at Sharjah Stadium under the slogan “Year of the 50th Cup Final” in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who declared 2021 as the “Year of the 50th" in celebration of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee.
The UAE Pro League is proud to adopt the slogan “Year of the 50th Cup Final”, as the Arabian Gulf Cup final will be part of year-long initiatives, activities, and celebrations governed by the UAE Golden Jubilee Committee under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Deputy Chairwoman.
The UAE Pro League confirmed that the slogan “Year of the 50th Cup Final” will be translated into action when titleholders Al Nasr face Shabab Al Ahli, as they seek to highlight the joyful atmosphere coinciding with the Golden Jubilee’s celebrations, while emphasizing the values of the past and aspiring to the future with enthusiasm and determination to continue the development journey in all fields, including sports and football in particular.
The UAE Pro League confirmed that they’ll redouble their efforts in the upcoming period to ensure an impeccable match while considering the value-added following the adoption of the slogan “Year of the 50th Cup Final”, as they seek to hold a match that highlights their love for the nation.
