Al Wahda pulled off a 3-1 comfortable away win over Al Dhafra at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium in matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
The visitors wasted no time and took an early lead less than seven minutes into the game when Adrien Da Silva fired the ball into the back of the net after some good team play from the visitors.
In the 15th minute, Matheus Fellipe Pereira cemented his side's lead when he unleashed a superb free-kick that curled around the Al Dhafra wall as it flashed into the top corner past goalkeeper Abdulla Hasan.
Joao Pedro secured the three points and sealed the victory for Al Wahda in the 73rd minute after towering above Al Dhafra's defenders to thump a brilliant header into the back of the net, to make it 3-0.
In the dying embers, Ali Eid reduced the deficit for Al Dhafra when Mohamed Aljneibi teed him up as the former brilliantly dribbled Al Wahda's defense outside the box and curled a left-footed effort into the left bottom corner of the net.
The result means that Al Wahda move up to the third spot with 40 points, while Al Dhafra remain bottom with just 8 points.
