Al Nasr vs Hatta: What the Coaches Said Before the Match

Al Nasr head coach Miloš Milojević has warned his players not to underestimate Hatta ahead of their Matchweek 6 encounter in the 2026-27 ADNOC Pro League on Saturday, October 17.

The two sides will meet at Al Maktoum Stadium at 17:05, with Al Nasr looking to secure a positive result and improve their league position.

Milojevic stressed that his team must remain focused and approach the match with respect for their opponents.

"The match against Hatta will not be easy. It is difficult to beat the same team twice, so we must stay focused, respect our opponents and prepare well for the game," Milojevic said during his pre-match press conference.

"We have to give our maximum effort to achieve a positive result against Hatta and improve our position in the league table."

Meanwhile, Hatta head coach Aleksandar Ilić said his team are working to improve their performances and address defensive weaknesses ahead of the encounter.

"League matches are difficult because of the strength of our opponents. We are working to improve our performances and correct our mistakes, particularly in defence," Ilić said.

"When we come under pressure, we try to find the right balance between keeping possession and maintaining our defensive organisation. This helps us reduce mistakes and avoid conceding goals."

Ilić believes his side have made gradual progress following their latest match but stressed the need for greater consistency and understanding between players.

"We feel our performances are gradually improving. We know that better understanding between the players will help us deliver stronger performances and achieve positive results."

The Hatta coach also called for greater concentration throughout matches, particularly in the closing stages of each half.

"We are working to improve our concentration throughout the match, especially towards the end of each half, when we have faced difficulties that affected our results."

Ilić added that addressing these weaknesses and maintaining the team's development remain priorities as Hatta seek better results in the coming matches.
