Al Nasr claimed a 5-0 victory over Al Orooba in the second matchweek of ADNOC Pro League at Al Maktoum Stadium, earning their first three points in a game that was almost decided by the hosts before the break.
It appears that Al Nasr players wanted to prove they had recovered from their first week's 3-0 defeat to Ajman through their entertaining display against Al Orooba.
It took the host team only 4 minutes to find Al Orooba's net through their striker Sebastián Tagliabué. Following the goal, Al Nasr continued to control the game's rhythm until Gláuber Lima could double the lead with a header in the 39th minute, just two minutes before Tagliabué added his second goal and Al Nasr's third when Diaa Saba's through pass put him head-to-head with the goalkeeper.
The guests tried to get back in the game in the second half, while Al Nasr were keen on maintaining a clean sheet, and it wasn't until the second minute of the added time when Toze managed to net Al Nasr's fourth goal, two minutes before Ryan Mendes sealed the victory with a fifth goal.
With this result, Al Nasr earned their first three points in this season's ADNOC Pro League campaign while Al Orooba remain at the bottom of the standings having conceded two defeats in the first two weeks.
