Ittihad Kalba secured a 3-1 comfortable win over Hatta at Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium in matchweek 18 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Andres Vombergar was coolness personified as he wrong-footed the goalkeeper from the penalty spot to put Ittihad Kalba ahead in the stoppage time of the first half.
Michel Dreifke towered above Hatta's defense to head in Mehdi Ghayedi's cross to cement the visitors' lead in the 55th minute.
The third was quick to follow by another powerful header from Filip Kis, who smashed the back of the net two minutes after the hour-mark. C. Egbuchulam reduced the margin for Hatta in the 89th minute.
The result means that Ittihad Kalba sit 10th with 17 points, while Hatta remained bottom with 5 points.
