Bani Yas secured a 4-2 win over Hatta in matchweek 21 of the ADNOC Pro League at Bani Yas Stadium on Friday.
The goalless draw lasted till the stoppage time of the first half, but Tauljan Sulemjmanov found the breakthrough and put Bani Yas ahead with a clinical finish from a close range in the first minute of the additional time.
Two minutes later, Gabriel De Souza leveled the scoring when he pounced on an excellent pass from Aniss Karimi to drill the ball into the back of the net.
Six minutes after the break, Sulemjmanov climbed above Hatta's defense to head in Abunamous' cross. Bani Yas' lead did not last for a long time as C. Egbuchulam hit the equalizer in the 54th minute.
Five minutes after the hour-mark, Fawaz Awana Almesabi made it 3-2 for Bani Yas, before Gastón Suarez fired a hammering that smashed the back of the net to seal the victory for the hosts.
The result means that Bani Yas are ninth with 22 points, while Hatta remain bottom with six points.
