Bani Yas Beat Al Nasr in Six-Goal Thriller

Bani Yas came from a 1-2 down to settle a six-goal thriller after securing a 4-2 win over Al Nasr in matchweek two of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.

Bani Yas needed just 13 minutes to find the breakthrough and break the deadlock when Tauljan Sulemjmanov picked up the ball on the right flank and cut inside the penalty area before his powerful shot took a slight deflection off defender Glauber Lima.

The response came very quickly from Al Nasr after two minutes when K. Agudelo poked the rebound into the bottom corner.

Iuri Medeiros turned the game on its head and put Al Nasr ahead in the 17th after slipping the ball into the bottom corner with a sensational finish.

Three minutes later, Tauljan Sulemjmanov turned from a scorer to a provider as he teed up Y. Niakaté inside the box, and the latter fired a left-footed effort into the back of the net to hit the equalizer for Bani Yas.

Bani Yas restored the lead nine minutes after the break when Y. Niakaté picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area before firing a powerful shot into the bottom corner.

Three minutes before the hour-mark, Gastón Suarez sealed the victory with a first-time low volley into the back of the net.
