Al Wahda and Sharjah shared the spoils after playing out a goalless draw at Al Nahyan Stadium in matchweek 21 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
Sharjah should have opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Jorge Djaniny fired a brilliant right-footed effort, which was denied by goalkeeper Mohamed Alshamsi.
Five minutes later, Alshamsi was the hero again as he parried out Jorge Djaniny's strike from outside the box.
The result means that Al Wahda sit second with 41 points, while Sharjah are fifth with 39 points.
