Al Nasr claimed a decisive 3-0 win over Hatta at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium as part of matchweek four of the ADNOC Pro League. This victory marked Al Nasr's inaugural three points this season, leaving Hatta still in search of their first points.
The visitors broke the deadlock and opened the scoring when a brilliant backheel goal from Manolo Gabbiadini put Al Nasr ahead and gave them the lead in the 40th minute.
With this feat, Gabbiadini joins the elite club of Italians to score for Al Nasr, previously graced by the likes of Luca Toni and Giuseppe Mascara.
The plot thickened when Al Nasr were awarded a pivotal penalty. Compounding Hatta's woes, their player Hamdan Abdulrahman was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Rising to the occasion, Al Nasr's star midfielder Adel Taarabt confidently dispatched the penalty in the 45+4th minute, registering his sixth goal for the season and solidifying his position as the top scorer for Al Nasr in 2023.
Sealing the victory, Gabbiadini returned to the spotlight in the dying moments, netting his second of the match in the 90+3rd minute.
