UAE Pro League Holds Technical Meeting to Prepare for Pro League Cup Final

The UAE Pro League held on Thursday April 28th the coordination technical meeting for the Pro League Cup final between reigning champions Shabab Al Ahli and the ADNOC Pro League leaders Al Ain, which is set to get underway at 19:30 pm on Wednesday May 4th at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

 

 

 

The meeting was chaired by Musab Al Marzooqi, the Pro League's Chief Corporate Services Officer, and was attended by representatives of the two teams, the referees department, Abu Dhabi Police, the private security company, and the work team from various departments of the UAE Pro League and Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the two teams' logistical, technical, organizational, and media arrangements were reviewed.

 

 

 

It was agreed that the Al Ain will be on the left side of the main stand, and Shabab Al Ahli, will be on the right side of the main stand.

 

 

 

Al Ain will be wearing a purple-black kit, while Shabab Al Ahli will be wearing an all-red kit.

 

 

 

According to Article 15 of Pro League Cup competition regulations, in case the regular time ends in a draw, the game goes straight into a penalty shootout, with no extra time.

 

 

 



During the meeting, it was also decided that the pre-match press conference will be held in the VIP area at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Tuesday evening, as the Shabab Al Ahli press conference will start at 5:00 pm followed by the Al Ain press conference at 5:30.

 

 

 

Both press conferences will be attended by the coach and one starting player.

 

 

 

The official training for both teams will be held at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium with a full hour dedicated to each team; Shabab Al Ahli’s training session will start at 6pm followed by Al Ain's training session at 7:15pm.

 

 

 

The two teams agreed that the sessions will be open to media for the first 15 minutes, after which they will continue behind closed doors.

 

 

 

It was also decided to open the gates to the fans on match day at 5:30 pm as follows:

 

 

Al Ain

Cat 1: Gate (2)


Cat 2: Gates (10 & 11 & 17)

 

Shabab Al Ahli FC:

In line with the match operations protocol, vaccinated fans will be allowed to enter by displaying a 'green pass' via the Alhosn app, or presenting a negative PCR test less than 96 hours prior to the game.

 

 


The fans will be on a date with celebrations and outdoor shows in the fan zone at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, starting from 8pm, and continuing till 2am during the days of Ramadan and will be resumed during Eid El Fitr from 4pm to 11pm.

 

 

Meanwhile, the matchday activities will start from 4:30 pm to 11 pm.

 

 

The UAE Pro League announced that tickets for the final are now available for online purchase through the link https://platinumlist.net.

 


The Pro League is always keen on providing affordable pricing for standard seats starting from Dh20 for second-class seats, and first-class tickets for Dh75.

 

 

It also added that women and children under 16 will be allowed to enter free of charge, with free tickets available at the ticket office in the stadium.
