A brace from M. Ben Alarbi set Ajman on course for an easy 4-1 win over Al Nasr in matchweek 15 of the ADNOC Pro League at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium on Saturday.
Ajman found the breakthrough and took the lead after seven minutes when M. Ben Alarbi sent a perfect low cross into the six-yard box, where Prestige Mboungou met with a clinical finish.
Ali Madan cemented his side's lead in the 25th minute when he ran onto a superb upfield pass from Waleed Azaro to break the offside trap and pick up the ball inside the box; before chipping the ball over the goalkeeper into the back of the net.
Four minutes before the break, Ben Alarbi turned from a provider to a scorer when he met Soud Saeed's cross with a brilliant first-time volley into the back of the net to make it 3-0.
Antonio Jose De Carvalho reduced the deficit when his free kick took a wicked deflection off Bilal Yousif and completely wrong-footed goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani.
The Tunisian midfielder grabbed his brace from a penalty spot after stepping up and stroking the ball into the top corner to make it 4-1 in the stoppage time of the first half.
Ajman are now sixth with 26 points, while Al Nasr sit twelfth with 11 points.
