A stoppage-time header from substitute Ala Zhir snatched Al Wahda a crucial 1-1 draw against relegation battler Dibba in matchweek 22 of the ADNOC Pro League on Thursday.
A cagey first half with chances few and far between ended goalless, but the game erupted into life after the restart.
Dibba started the second half as a completely different team, and they took the lead just two minutes after the break when Alvaro De Oliveira was put through on goal as he kept his composure before sending a superb low cross to Jandir Breno Souza Silva who used his first touch to drill the ball into the back of the net, to make it 1-0.
Just as the hosts were about to secure the three points, Ala Zhir struck deep into stoppage time with a powerful header to save a point for the visitors.
The result means that Al Wahda sit third with 42 points, while Dibba are in 13th place with 12 points.
