Al Wahda Clinches Decisive 4-1 Win over Emirates FC in ADNOC Pro League

Al Wahda marked a significant victory in the ADNOC Pro League, defeating Emirates FC 4-1 in a captivating match at the Al Nahyan Stadium. This vital matchweek eight encounter saw Al Wahda escalate their league position to fourth with 15 points, while Emirates FC remains anchored in twelfth place with a five-point tally.


The first half of the match was a tactical battle, characterized by Al Wahda’s offensive drives and Emirates FC's resilient defense. Despite several close calls and intense gameplay, the first 45 minutes concluded without any goals, setting up a suspenseful second half.


Al Wahda's breakthrough came shortly after halftime. Omar Khribin, Al Wahda’s dynamic Syrian forward, opened the scoring at the 46th minute with an impressive header, following an assist from Ahmad Noorollah. This initial goal sparked a series of successful plays for Al Wahda, with Noorollah himself scoring the second goal in the 52nd minute, demonstrating the team's growing momentum.


Christian Guanca, a key player for Al Wahda, further extended their lead by netting the third goal in the 58th minute, with Sultan Alzaabi providing the assist.


Despite facing a three-goal deficit, Emirates FC rallied to mount a comeback. They launched a series of organized attacks, but Al Wahda's steadfast defense thwarted their efforts.


In the 85th minute, Al Wahda's seasoned player Ismaeil Matar sealed their victory with a fourth goal.


Emirates FC managed to score a late consolation goal through Francisco Alcacer in stoppage time, bringing the dynamic match to a close.
