Abdoulaye Toure's second-half goal was the difference for Al Nasr in a 1-0 away win over Al Ain at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday.
Bandar Al Ahbabi should have opened the scoring for the hosts in the 18th minute after stepping up to curl a superb free-kick, but his effort hit the post.
Fifteen minutes after the hour-mark, Abdoulaye Toure found the breakthrough and broke the deadlock when he made a nice move from the left flank before providing a brilliant assist to Ryan Mendes. Mendes' strike was brilliantly parried out by goalkeeper Khalid Eisa, but the ball fell to Toure, who poked the rebound into an open net.
Al Nasr jumped to the tenth spot with 20 points, while Al Ain's tally froze at 40 points in second place.
