A first-half goal by Adel Taarabt helped Al Nasr to bounce back to winning ways with an important 1-0 home win over Al Dhafra at Al Maktoum Stadium in matchweek 14 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
It took 46th minutes for the hosts to break the deadlock when Al Al Dhafra's defenders failed to properly clear the ball as it fell to Adel Taarabt, who kept his composure and planted a header into the back of the net, to make it 1-0.
It has been a cagey second-half with few chances as the two clubs failed to pose a real threat towards the goalkeepers.
The win saw Al Nasr jump up to twelfth place with eleven points, while Al Dhafra remain in the 13th spot with seven points.
