Baniyas went down 2-0 at home to Ajman in the fifth round of ADNOC Pro League with the guests increasing their point tally to 8 points while Baniyas remain with 4 points after five weeks of the competition.

Ajman’s Bubacarr Trawally missed a chance to put his team ahead in the 55th minute when he diverted Firas Ben Al Araby’s cross with a header inches over the crossbar.
The visitors translated their superiority in the second period with their first goal in the 67th minute through Yorleys Mena who received Ben Al Araby’s pass in the box before sending it into the back of Baniyas net.
It was Ben Al Araby himself who sealed his side’s triumph with the second goal in the 85th minute when an organized counter-attack saw him go head to head with the goalkeeper.
After this crucial win Ajman are currently sixth-placed in the table while he defeat saw Baniyas fall down to 10th with 4 points.
