Two second-half goals were the difference for Ittihad Kalba in a 2-0 home win over Dibba in matchweek six of the ADNOC Pro League at Ittihad Kalba Stadium on Saturday.
It took 76 for the hosts to break the deadlock when Daniel Bessa picked up the ball from midfield and ran toward the penalty area before hitting the back of the net with a smart finish.
Six minutes before the final whistle, Ittihad Kalba cemented their lead when Dibba's defender failed to properly clear the ball to allow Ahmed Alnaqbi to plant a header into the back of the net, to make it 2-0.
The result means Ittihad Kalba are now in sixth place with 10 points, while Dibba remain bottom with only one point.
