Al Nasr and Ajman ended their match in a 1-1 draw at Al Maktoum Stadium this evening, as part of matchweek 24 of the ADNOC Pro League. Haikel Sheikhi scored for Ajman in the 12th minute, while defender Glauber Lima equalized for Al Nasr in the 27th minute. This result places Al Nasr in fifth position with 39 points, while Ajman holds seventh place with 31 points.
Chikhaoui gave Ajman an early lead, capitalizing on a precise pass from Raphael Guimaraes. This marks the third goal scored by Ajman's Tunisian players against Al Nasr, following a previous brace by former player Firas Ben Larbi, now with Sharjah.
Al Nasr's equalizer came through a well-executed header by Glauber Lima in the 27th minute, assisted by Adel Taarabt's corner kick.
Hussain Mahdi nearly added a second for Al Nasr with a powerful shot from outside the box in the 33rd minute, which was expertly saved by Ajman's goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani. Moments later, Adel Taarabt had another chance, but his shot from inside the area sailed over the crossbar in the 36th minute.
The second half saw a noticeable drop in pace, with fewer offensive opportunities from both sides. Ajman's Raphael Guimaraes attempted a long-range shot in the 74th minute, but Al Nasr's goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih was quick to deflect it for a corner.
In the 81st minute, Moroccan striker Waleed Azaro almost clinched the win for Ajman with a shot from inside the box that narrowly missed the target. The match ultimately concluded in a 1-1 draw.
