Al Ain ended their 2020-21 Arabian Gulf League campaign in sixth place after defeating already-relegated Hatta 1-0 at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in matchweek 26 on Tuesday.
The win left Al Ain in sixth place with 41 points. Meanwhile, Hatta, who were already relegated to the First Division, finished off the season at rock bottom with 12 points only.
Al Ain took a 1-0 lead into the break, thanks to Caio Canedo's 31st-minute goal.
Hatta came close to netting the equalizer in the second half, as Jonathas found the back of Al Ain's net twice but his goals were ruled out for offside after the VAR review.
