Sharjah cruised to a comfortable 4-0 away victory against Ittihad Kalba in matchweek 11 of the ADNOC Pro League on Tuesday.
The visitors took a deserved early lead in the 21st minute into the game when Miralem Pjanic floated a brilliant cross into the six-yard box from a free-kick to Ousmane Camara who met it with a powerful header into the back of the net.
Ittihad Kalba's defender M Hammed Rabii was sent off after 25 minutes, leaving his side a man short for an hour.
Only three minutes before the hour-mark, Majed Hassan Ahmed put Luan Pereira through on goal as the latter curled a right-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net, to make it 2-0.
In the 76th minute, Pjanic added the third goal for his side when he met Khaled Ebraheim Aldhanhani's excellent cross with a clinical first-time finish from the six-yard box.
Eleven minutes before the time, Caio Lucas made it 4-0 when he picked up the ball on the right wing and skipped past Ittihad Kalba's defense, before firing a powerful shot that nestled into the top corner of the net
The victory means Sharjah are now third with 23 points, while Ittihad Kalba remain in eighth place with 17 points.
