The match at Ittihad Kalba's stadium saw Emirates FC take control early on, thanks to a stellar performance from Marwan Fahad Hamza. Fahd opened the scoring in the 16th minute, following a precise cross from Ali Al-Ansari. He doubled the lead five minutes later with a skillful finish, completing a dynamic team effort that began with the goalkeeper's play and ended with Fahd’s goal.
This makes Fahd the first Emirates FC player to score a brace in this season’s ADNOC Pro League.
Ittihad Kalba attempted a comeback late in the game when Mehdi Ghayedi scored in the 88th minute, reducing the deficit to just one goal. Despite Ittihad Kalba's efforts to equalize, Emirates FC maintained their lead and closed out the match with a win, adding three crucial points to their tally.
This victory brings Emirates FC’s total to 14 points, keeping them just above the relegation zone, while Ittihad Kalba remain at 21 points, positioned eleventh in the league standings.
