The executive committee of the UAE-Qatar Super Shield hold the technical meeting for Shabab Al Ahli vs. Al Duhail, which will take placematch at Rashid stadium on Saturday, April 13th.
The meeting was attended by representatives of both clubs, Police, the private security company, the working teams organizing the event.
It was agreed during the meeting that Shabab Al Ahli will wear an all-red kit, while Al Duhail will wear an all-grey kit.
According to Article No. 13 of the competition regulation, the game will go straight to penalty shootouts, without extra time, if the regular time ends in a draw.
The pre-match press conference will take place on Friday, April 12th in the press conference hall at Rashid Stadium in attendance of the head coach and a player from each club
After the press conference, the one-hour training sessions of both clubs will be held and the first 15 of each training will be open for media.
The match will witness the holding of many public activities from 7 pm in the fan zone, including entertainment games, sports skills and other activities available for all ages.
It was decided the stadium's gates will be as follows:
For Duhail fans:
Outer perimeter gate before Dubai Police General Headquarters
Inner perimeter gates: 2 and 3.
For Shabab Al Ahli's fans:
Outer perimeter: In front of Lolo centre
Inner perimeter gates: 5,6,7
VIP and Premium gates: Main gate in front of Dubai Police General Headquarters
In this regard, Dr. Khalid Al Hashemi, a member of the Executive Committee organizing the UAE-Qatar Super Cup and the UAE-Qatar Super Shield said, “The fans attending the match will be treated to many events, starting at 7 pm outside the stadium by setting up an entertainment fan zone, and continuing until the end of the match, in addition to providing various food and beverage selling points in the vicinity of the stadium.
'A parade ceremony that embodies the strength of relations between the two countries will proceed the match. We invite the fans to be there early to enjoy all the aspects of this distinguished event and the first of its kind in the region."
