Shabab Al Ahli managed to maintain their perfect start to the Pro League U23 season as they pulled off their second win in a row over Ajman.
The Dubai-based side sat first with six points, while Ajman are 13th with one point.
The race for the second spot saw a fierce competition between Al Orooba, Al Nasr, Al Wasl, and Al Ain as they shared the same tally of points with four points each.
Al Nasr crushed Bani Yas 4-1, raising their tally to four points, while Bani Yas remained bottom with zero points.
Meanwhile, Al Orooba demolished Al Jazira 4-1, taking their tally up to four points, while Al Jazira's tally froze at three points in the sixth place, while Al Wasl secured a 2-0 win over Dibba Al Hisn to share the second spot with Al Orooba, Al Nasr, and Al Ain with four points, whereas Dibba Al Hisn are 10th a point.
In the same context, Al Ain dropped their first two points in the ongoing season after playing out a goalless draw with Al Bataeh, who are 11th with a point.
Sharjah and Kalba settled a four-goal thriller after holding a 2-2 draw, while Al Wahda and Khorfakkan held a 1-1 draw as Al Wahda have two points in the 9th place, and Khorfakkan clinched their first point to sit 12th.
