Al Arabi, fondly referred to as "Al Arabawi," reclaimed glory by winning the 51st edition of Qatar's Amir Cup, securing a convincing 3-0 victory against Al Sadd in the final, held at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

Al Arabi also had an impressive run in the Qatar Stars League, finishing as the runner-up, only two points behind the champions, Al Duhail.

Sharjah, known as "The King," finished the 2022-2023 season with an exceptional record, capturing the UAE Super Cup, the ADIB Cup, and the prestigious UAE President's Cup, the latter won through a thrilling marathon penalty shootout against Al Ain, which ended 13-12 after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The match took place at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium. This victory not only marked Al Sharjah's second consecutive President's Cup win but also brought their total tally in the competition to 10 titles.
