The UAE Pro League announced the winners of “The Best” ADNOC Pro League monthly awards for September.
Sharjah trio dominated the Best Monthly awards, with Brazilian striker Luan Pereira winning the Best Player award while head coach Olaroiu Cosmin picked up the Best Coach award, and goalkeeper Darwish Mohammad claimed the Best Goalkeeper award.
They won the highest number of votes during the 24-hour voting stage, which saw a large turnout from fans casting their votes on the official UAE Pro League website and mobile app.
Pereira picked up the Best Player award after overcoming his teammate, Spanish forward Francisco Alcacer, Al Jazira duo midfielder Abdalla Ramadan and the ADNOC Pro League all-time top scorer Ali Mabkhout, as well as Shabab Al Ahli midfielder Yuri Cesar.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Darwish Mohammad won the Best Goalkeeper award after edging Al Bataeh Zayed Ahmed and Al Nasr Ahmed Shambih.
Manager Olaroiu Cozmin clinched the Best Coach award after finishing above Al Jazira head coach Marcel Keizer and Al Bataeh coach Caio Cesar Zanardi.
