Moussa Marega's first-half goal was the difference in Sharjah's 1-0 win over Jordan's Al Faisaly in matchweek two of the AFC Champions League's group stage.
The two clubs have been placed in Group B alongside Uzbekistan's Nasaf and Qatar's Al Sadd. The group's other match ended with Nasaf securing a 3-1 over Al Sadd.
Nasaf are now topping Group B with six points, followed by Sharjah, who are second with four points, while Al Sadd sit third with one point, and Al Faisaly are bottom with zero points.
Matchweek three will take place on October 23rd, with Sharjah hosting Nasaf and Al Sadd welcoming Al Faisaly in Doha.
