Hatta took the lead in the 40th minute with a historic goal from Aniss Karimi, who expertly scored the club’s first-ever direct free-kick goal in the Pro League. The match intensified when Emirates FC was reduced to ten men after Ahmad Essa was sent off with a red card just two minutes before Hatta's goal.
Despite numerous scoring opportunities in the second half, both teams struggled to convert. Notably, Abdulla Kazim missed a crucial chance to extend Hatta’s lead when he shot straight at the goalkeeper with only fifteen minutes remaining.
Emirates FC’s perseverance paid off in the 84th minute when Diaa Sabi'A skillfully controlled a pass inside the box and drove it into Hatta’s net to level the score.
