A stoppage-time goal from Jamal Maroof helped bottom-side Dibba steal a 2-2 draw against Ittihad Kalba at Dibba Stadium in matchweek 19 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
Two minutes before the hour-mark, Sultan Adill put Ittihad Kalba ahead when Braian Ramirez pounced on a misplaced pass by defender Ibrahim Saeed Al Yaqoubi.
Ramirez cut inside the penalty area, but his two attempts were brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Mohamed Salem, and Sultan Adill poked the rebound wide past the goalkeeper.
Second-half substitute Ahmed Nabil rewarded his coach as he scored for the hosts just four minutes after his entry to the pitch to level the scoring in the 77th minute. The UAE midfielder picked up the ball outside the box before firing a stunning long-range strike that nestled into the top corner of the net, beating goalkeeper Eisa Houti.
Just nine minutes before the time, Alexandru Cicaldau put the visitors ahead again when he met Leandro Spadacio's low cross with a clinical finish from close range.
The hosts refused to give up as they kept searching for the equalizer and they got what they wanted in the dying minutes when substitute Jamal Maroof met a brilliant assist from Marcelo Dos Santos with a clinical finish, to make it 2-2.
The result means that Dibba sit bottom with five points, while Ittihad Kalba remain eighth with 25 points.
