Ali Madan Hits Brace As Ajman Cruise Past Dibba in ADNOC Pro League

Ajman cruised to a hard-fought 3-2 home victory against Dibba at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in matchweek 17 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.

It took 19th minutes for Ajman to break the deadlock and open the scoring when Waleed Azaro picked up the ball inside the box and skipped past Dibba’s defender; before firing the ball into the back of the net.

Just two minutes before the two clubs headed to the dressing rooms for the break, Alvaro De Oliveira leveled the scoring when he capitalized on a huge mistake by Ajman's goalkeeper who failed to properly clear the ball, allowing the Brazilian forward to curl the ball into the empty net.

Ali Madan cemented his side's lead in the 45th minute when he orchestrated a fine one-two with M. Ben Alarbi to open up a space, finally allowing the Bahraini winger to drill the ball into the back of the net.

Just seven minutes before the hour-mark, Ali Madan grabbed his brace and sealed the victory for Ajman when Prestige Mboungou’s first attempt was denied by Dibba’s goalkeeper Humaid Abdulla as the Bahraini winger poked the rebound into the back of the net.

In the 63rd minute, Saeed Suleiman Salem reduced the deficit for the visitors from a penalty spot after stepping up and sending the goalkeeper the wrong way, to make it 2-3.

The win saw Ajman jump up to sixth place with 29 points, while Dibba remain bottom with just 4 points and become the first relegated team from the ADNOC Pro League next season
