Ajman Claim 2-1 Win Over Kuwait’s Kazma in Gulf Champions League

Ajman secured their second consecutive win in the Gulf Champions League after defeating Kuwait’s Kazma 2-1, maintaining their perfect start to the group stage and moving to six points.

The Oranges made an impressive start, with Lourency Do opening the scoring in the fourth minute to give Ajman an early advantage.

Moroccan striker Waleed Azaro doubled the lead in the 41st minute, putting Ajman firmly in control as they headed into half-time with a 2-0 advantage.

Kazma responded after the interval and reduced the deficit in the 57th minute, setting up a competitive final half-hour as the Kuwaiti side attempted to find an equaliser.

However, Ajman held on to their narrow advantage, denying Kazma a comeback and securing another important three points in the regional competition.

The result marked Ajman's second victory in as many group-stage matches, following their opening-round win over Iraq’s Erbil.

With six points from their first two fixtures, Ajman have made an encouraging start to their Gulf Champions League campaign, strengthening their position in the group as they pursue qualification for the knockout stage.
