ADNOC Pro League Resumes with Competitive Matchweek 9 Fixtures

The ADNOC Pro League returns this weekend with Matchweek 9, with highly anticipated fixtures shaped by differing ambitions across the standings.

The round will be played over Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 December, and features five matches, while the two high-profile clashes between Al Wahda and Sharjah, and Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wasl, have been postponed until 10 January 2026 due to continental commitments.

Action gets underway on Saturday with Bani Yas hosting Khorfakkan at 16:50. Bani Yas will be aiming for a second win of the season as they look to move up from 13th place with four points, while Khorfakkan, tenth on eight points, seek a response after last week’s defeat.

At the same time, Ajman face Dibba at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, with Ajman ninth on ten points chasing their fourth win, and Dibba still searching for their first victory of the campaign from the bottom of the table.

Saturday’s fixtures conclude with Al Ain welcoming Kalba to Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at 19:30. League leaders Al Ain, top of the standings with 20 points, will look to extend their advantage, but Kalba, eighth with 11 points, arrive with hopes of pushing closer to the leading group.

Sunday’s drama begins with Al Bataeh hosting Al Nasr at Khaled bin Mohammed Stadium at 16:50, as both sides target another positive result following wins in the previous round. Al Bataeh sit 12th with six points, while Al Nasr are seventh on 11.

The round concludes at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, where Al Jazira face Al Dhafra at 19:30 in a closely matched contest between fifth-placed Al Jazira on 14 points and Al Dhafra, sixth with 12 points.
