Kalba earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dibba Al Hisn on Saturday evening at Kalba Stadium in Matchweek 23 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The visitors took the lead in the 42nd minute when Pierre Kunde fired in a powerful strike, giving Dibba Al Hisn a 1-0 advantage heading into the break.
Kalba had earlier found the net in the 24th minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Kalba came out strong in the second half, creating a series of dangerous chances before finally equalizing through Mehdi Ghayedi in the 57th minute with a sharp follow-up finish.
The home side continued to press, and in the 77th minute, Daniel Bessa scored the winning goal after a clean break through on goal.
Despite a late push from Dibba Al Hisn, Kalba held firm to secure three important points.
The result moves Kalba up to 28 points in 9th place, while Dibba Al Hisn remain on 16 points in 13th position, deep in the relegation battle.
