The UAE Pro League announced that the first leg of the Arabian Gulf Cup quarter-finals will bear the name of "Mohammed Bin Rashid", in celebration of the 15th anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as the head of the UAE Government.
The UAE Pro League confirmed that the four first leg matches of the Arabian Gulf Cup will see a photo of His Highness placed on the stadiums’ screens to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this precious occasion, accompanied by one of his most prominent quotes: “He says what he does and does what he says,” which His Highness embodied with countless achievements that made a big leap over the years in which he headed the UAE government. His Highness also succeeded, thanks to his vision, in utilizing national competencies and efforts to create a present full of development and creativity and a brighter future headed towards more innovation in all fields, including sports in general and football in specific.
