ADNOC Pro League: Matchweek 7 Preview

Matchweek seven of the ADNOC Pro League will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, October 22nd, 23rd, and 25th, as each club looks to gain some ground between keeping pace with the league's leading teams or moving up the standings.

 

 

 

 

Saturday's actions get underway with Khorfakkan welcoming Shabab Al Ahli at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium for the 17:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

The two clubs had previously met on six occasions, with five wins for Shabab Al Ahli, while the other match ended in a draw.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, Dibba host Bani Yas, with the former seeking to clinch their first win in the competition, while the latter will look for avoiding dropping points after their last 1-1 draw against Al Nasr.

 

 

 

 

During their eight previous meetings, Bani Yas have four wins, compared to just a victory for Dibba, while the other three matches ended in draws.

 

 

 

 

Saturday's fixtures conclude with a big game between Al Nasr and Al Ain at Al Maktoum Stadium for the 20:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

The hosts will be in a search of returning to winning ways after their last victory in matchweek two against Ajman, while Al Ain will seek to compensate for their last defeat against Al Wahda.

 

 

 

 

Al Nasr and Al Ain clashed 26 times before, with 18 wins for Al Ain, compared to five for Al Nasr, while the other 3 games ended in draws as Al Ain scored 50 goals, while Al Nasr found the back of the net on 23 occasions.

 

 

 

 

The fixtures continue on Sunday, with Al Jazira welcoming Ajman at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium at 17:00.

 

 

 

 

Al Jazira have never lost any match to Ajman during their ten previous games, as they won eight and drew two.

 

 

 

 

Sunday's actions conclude with Al Wasl welcoming Ittihad Kalba at Zabeel Stadium for the 20:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

The hosts will seek to maintain their one-point lead at the top of the ADNOC Pro League's table after defeating Sharjah 1-0 in matchweek six.

 

 

 

 

Al Wasl found the back of Ittihad Kalba's net on 30 occasions, while the latter scored 18 goals against Al Wasl during their previous meetings in the competition.

 

 

 

 

Matchweek seven concludes with two fixtures taking place on Tuesday, as Al Bataeh will host Sharjah at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium for the 17:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

Al Bataeh had a brilliant start to their adventure in the competition, as they won three matches, but they lost the other three games.

 

 

 

 

On the other hand, Sharjah will look for returning to the winning ways after being defeated by Al Wasl during matchweek six.

 

 

 

 

Al Wahda will welcome Al Dhafra at Al Nahyan Stadium for the 20:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

The hosts will be in a search of securing their fourth win in a row, while Al Dhafra will seek to return to winning ways after dropping six points in matchweek five and six.
