UAEPL 2026 Concludes with Strong Participation and Intense Competition

The sixth edition of the UAE Pro League eLeague concluded successfully following two days of exciting competition held on 30 and 31 May at Pixoul Gaming in Al Qana, Abu Dhabi. 

 

The tournament once again highlighted its continued growth and reinforced its status as one of the UAE’s leading esports events.

 

Players from across the country competed in the qualifying rounds for a place in the finals, which attracted strong attendance and engagement from esports enthusiasts. 

 

The event also generated significant interaction across the UAE Pro League’s digital platforms and official channels, reflecting the growing popularity of esports and its increasing role in engaging younger audiences with sports content.

 

Ali Al Darmaki, representing Khorfakkan, was crowned champion of the sixth edition after delivering a series of outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Moaz Ibrahim of Dibba finished as runner-up, while Basel Hussein of Ajman secured third place following highly competitive matches among the finalists.

 

The UAE Pro League awarded prize money to the top three finishers, with AED 25,000 presented to the champion, AED 15,000 to the runner-up, and AED 10,000 to the third-place finisher. 

 

In addition, the tournament winner earned the opportunity to attend the Esports World Cup as a spectator, providing a unique chance to experience one of the world’s premier esports events.

 

The awards ceremony was attended by Tareq Al Shabibi, Member of the UAE Pro League Board of Directors, who presented the trophies and prizes to the winners. He praised the high level of competition and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament, reflecting the continued development of esports in the UAE.

 

The event was also attended by Musab Al Marzooqi, CEO of the UAE Pro League, alongside representatives of professional clubs, media outlets, and content creators who covered the competition across various social media platforms.

 

The tournament forms part of the UAE Pro League’s ongoing efforts to embrace the rapid growth of esports and strengthen its presence in the digital landscape. Through innovative competitions and engaging experiences, the League continues to connect with new audiences and expand interaction with its competitions and activities.

 

The success of the sixth edition further demonstrates the tournament’s growing stature year after year, reflected in rising participation, viewership, and digital engagement. It also reinforces its role as a platform that brings together sport, technology, and entertainment in a modern experience that resonates with the next generation of fans.
