Sharjah beat Al Ain 1-0 in a pulsating Super Cup clash at Al Maktoum Stadium on Saturday night to claim their second UAE Super Cup title in what was their third appearance in the final.
For his brilliant saves, Sharjah's goalkeeper Adel Alhosani was awarded the Man of the Match award.
During the trophy ceremony, the UAE Super Cup's sponsors of the TV broadcast rights holders, namely Abu Dhabi Sports Channels, Dubai Sports Channels, and Sharjah Sports Channels were honored, in addition to the UAE Pro League's sponsors and success partners, including the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company 'ADNOC', Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the President's Initiatives, Emirates Palace hotel, Emirates Airline, Rasasi Perfumes, Al Nabooda Automobiles, Rixos Hotel, and Nike.
The Polish refereeing team, led by Szymon Marciniak, was also honored during the ceremony.
