UAE-Qatar Super Cup Set to Kick Off January 16-19

The highly anticipated UAE-Qatar Super Cup is set to kick off on January 16, featuring four thrilling tournaments with the participation of eight teams, four from the UAE and four from Qatar.

 

 

 

The competition has sparked excitement across the region, uniting fans in anticipation of thrilling matches.

 

 

 

The tournament’s organizing committee, in collaboration with Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, announced a sponsorship agreement, making the leading low-cost airline the primary sponsor of this year’s edition.

 

 

 

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost airline based in Abu Dhabi and operating from Zayed International Airport, continues to support regional initiatives with innovative travel solutions tailored to the growing demand for affordable options.

 

 

 

The UAE-Qatar Super Cup 2025 will feature four tournaments, each showcasing top teams from both nations:

 

 

 

Challenge Shield: The action begins on January 16 in Doha, where Al Rayyan, the Ooredoo Stars League runners-up, will face Shabab Al Ahli, the ADNOC Pro League runners-up.

 

 

 

This opening match sets the stage for a series of exciting clashes.

 

 

 

Super Cup: On January 17, Dubai will host Al Nasr, the UAE President’s Cup runner-up, as they take on Qatar SC, the Amir of Qatar Cup runners-up.

 

 

 

Super Shield: On January 18, league champions will meet in a titanic battle in Doha. Al Sadd, champions of the Ooredoo Stars League, will go head-to-head with Al Wasl, champions of the ADNOC Pro League.

 

 

 

Challenge Cup: The tournament concludes on January 19 in Abu Dhabi, where Al Wahda, winners of the ADIB Cup, will compete against Al Wakrah, Qatar Cup champions, in the final match of the event.
