The UAE Pro League, in collaboration with Mubadala Investment Company, the Authority for Social Contribution (Ma’an), and the Family Development Foundation (FDF) in Abu Dhabi, has successfully concluded its Health Prevention Campaign for Senior Citizens.
The two-day event, held on January 11–12 at ACTIVE Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, is part of the Football for Seniors Initiative launched on January 4, aimed at promoting the health and well-being of older community members.
The campaign welcomed 120 participants, both men and women aged 60 and above, featured workshops and awareness sessions covering topics like obesity prevention, healthy nutrition, portion control, daily habit improvement, physical activity, and community support. Participants also engaged in sporting activities aimed at promoting an active and healthier lifestyle.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony, during which the UAE Pro League and its partners awarded the attendees with participation certificates in recognition for their commitment to enhancing health awareness and adopting a healthier lifestyle.
The UAE Pro League, Mubadala, and Ma’an will continue their initiatives to build a healthier and more active community.
Their next campaign, focused on inclusivity, will be centered around Football for People of Determination program, due to launch on January 18 and to run for four weeks.
